Legislative Update: May 2, 2007

Update from Capitol Hill

Updating a previous item, we understand that the House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee is planning to hold hearings on the tax-exempt sector in the coming weeks.  While details on the proposed hearings are still in flux, we now understand told that the likely timing for the first of such hearings would be in early Summer.  We expect the first hearing to be a general overview of tax-exempt issues.
